Deferred Life

Deferred Life

I went to a community;
It drew mw to its shadows.
Half born people there
Make their living in the air
And the knowledge of reality
Makes the nothingness of something
Become less.

I saw the repetitiousness of people.
People who defy the intelligence of logic;
So far apart yet;
They stay together alone,
Being there together is enough.

I heard a cry; a cry of thought
That did not transcend anything,
It was without meaning,
The cry concerned no one at all

Silence expressed darkness.
They and the darkness are one.
Poverty of wisdom reveals
 life deferred.
I left these people counting numberless fingers
Trying to reach
The end of their imagination.
